Jennie Galbraith FICRS appointed ICRS Chair
We are pleased to announce that Jennie Galbraith FICRS has been appointed Chair of the Institute for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. She is succeeding Anita Longley who retired from Board and Chairmanship at the Institute’s last AGM.
Jennie has been an integral part of the ICRS’ history from its early days as the Corporate Responsibility Group. She was one of the Institute’s founding members and has held various leadership and Board positions, most recently as Vice Chair. As a practitioner, Jennie has a wealth of experience in the Corporate Responsibility and ESG space and was recently appointed ESG Director at Inflexion, a leading private equity firm that invests in high growth, entrepreneurial businesses.
Jennie studied environmental science at The University of Manchester and started her 20+ year career at the Co-operative Group. More recently, Jennie was Head of ESG at British American Tobacco where she was responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of BAT’s global sustainability agenda.
In her role as Chair, Jennie will oversee the execution of the ICRS’ new three-year strategy, designed to deliver on our mission to support individuals and organisations to develop the skills they need to be brilliant at CR&S.
