ICRS Appoints New Board Members
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of three distinguished professionals to the Board of ICRS, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
These new board members bring a wealth of experience and a diverse range of expertise that will enhance our mission and strategic initiatives.
Sima Varsani FICRS is the Group Head of Sustainability and Communications at Helios Towers. Sima expressed her enthusiasm about joining the board, saying, “I’m honoured to join the ICRS Board and support our profession in showing how sustainability creates value for both business and society. I am excited to help practitioners align sustainability and commercial goals, ensuring our profession plays a central role in corporate strategy and decision-making. I look forward to working alongside fellow Board members and the ICRS community to champion sustainable business as a driver for long-term business growth.”

David Vazquez FICRS serves as the Head of Sustainability at London Luton Airport. David has stated, “As a founding member who’s benefited from the ICRS community as both mentor and mentee over the past decade, I’m honoured to now serve as a Board Director. This is a defining moment for one of the best professions in the world — and I’m excited to help shape its future, grow its impact, and support those driving change from within.”

Stephanie Taviner FICRS, is currently the Environmental Manager for Corporate Responsibility at IHG Hotels & Resorts. Stephanie remarked, “I’m delighted to have been appointed a Board of Directors as my involvement with the ICRS has been a significant part of my career journey going from Student member to a Fellow. I am looking forward to championing the next generation of leaders within our industry and collaborating with the Board to contribute to the Institute's future success, leveraging the powerful network of members to advance the CRS agenda, through the challenges and opportunities we face as practitioners.”
