Guidance for contributors to the Exchange 2018

The Exchange is the annual conference for members of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS)

This guide explains what you need to know as a guest speaker.

The Exchange is a melting pot of interesting people like you sharing ideas, successes, and failures (read: learning) in corporate responsibility and sustainability (CRS).

At the end of the conference people feel connected, inspired and motivated to go and do something exciting.

For 2018, our theme is collaboration - as it's such a significant part of what we do in CRS.

We would like to hear about the pros and cons, how to do it well, when not to do it, and some great examples of how collaborations have benefited society and environment.

Before the day

Please send us a photograph, short biography and your social media handle(s) as soon as possible.

If you're happy for us to do so, we'll publish them on the event page and in our printed programme. We may edit biographies to fit the context, but we will seek your approval before publishing.

Your presentation

We will speak to you about timing and topics to cover.

You are welcome to use slides, but don't feel compelled. If you are using them please:

  • Use PowerPoint in Widescreen (16:9)
  • Send us a first draft by Wednesday 21 March
  • Have a final version ready by Wednesday 11 April

You will be speaking to a room of approximately 100 corporate responsibility and sustainability professionals, who are members of the Institute.

Seniority will vary from directors and 'heads of' to managers and executives.

To give you an idea of the people likely to attend, here are our full member lists:
