ICRS Aspire Hub: Is the grass always greener?: In-house vs Consultancy
So you’ve decided to pursue a career in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. That’s great! But what types of role are available? Where do you begin to look? And what is the difference between in-house and consultancy roles?
In-house CRS roles are embedded within an organisation, employed by a company to work on their CRS strategy, projects or initiatives. Whereas consultants provide professional or expert advice to companies, offering a third party perspective on their CRS work. But which is right for you? It can seem a lot to think about.
This event will explore the different options available to you, looking at the similarities and differences between in-house and consultancy and how to transition between them. Our brilliant panel will share their experiences of working across in-house and consulting roles, including how they entered their area of expertise and the skill-sets they feel are most useful.
We’ll be joined by:
Stephanie Taviner - Event Facilitator and Sustainability & Risk Specialist at IHG Hotels & Resorts
