How to build powerful mentoring relationships: Training for ICRS mentors 2019

At the best of times, mentoring is an enabling, enriching two-way learning experience for both the mentee and the mentor. But when things don’t work out, mentoring becomes a drag. Conversations barely scratch the surface and, as often no one wants to address the issue, the relationship carries on half-heartedly before eventually fizzling out. It doesn’t have to be that way!

Whether you are new to mentoring or more experienced, this interactive training workshop will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to make the most of your mentoring relationship - for both, your mentee and yourself.

During the workshop, we’ll discuss some of the core ingredients to good mentoring and how to set the relationship up for success. We’ll look at how to run an effective, outcome orientated mentoring session and you will have the opportunity to practice some vital mentoring skills. You will leave this workshop confident that you can maximise the value of your ICRS mentoring relationship.

This event will take place on the Tuesday 09 April from 09:00 - 11:30, preceeding the ICRS Exchange, our flagship networking event. Details for the ICRS Exchange will be released soon, but for those attending this workshop the venue for the Exchange will be in the same area.
