Building the case for social procurement
Supply chains can offer opportunities to add social value by buying products and services in a way that maximises the positive impact for people, communities and the environment. As businesses look to embed responsible behaviours across all areas of core delivery, many are looking at social procurement to deliver CRS goals.
We will hear from Charlie Wigglesworth, Deputy CEO at Social Enterprise UK, who has been leading on SEUK’s social procurement work for the past six years working with organisations as diverse as Wates, Johnson & Johnson, BP, PwC and Santander. The webinar will look at the potential gains from social procurement, how other businesses are doing it and how you can embed this in your organisation.
We'll then hear from Emily Davies, Head of Social Impact at Amey plc, who will share with us Amey's journey to diversity their supply chain spending to include social enterprises.
