| Bristol Hub | Inaugural meeting: SDG workshop

UN SDGs consulltations in Mariupol (29901404045)

Out West? Join us at our inaugural Bristol Hub meeting, where you can learn from and share with fellow CRS professionals, in a session focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Launched in January 2016, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a call to action on pressing development issues around the world.

The SDGs offer – among other things – a framework for organisations to assess and report on the impact of their activities. However, it is not always clear how businesses should act.

Should organisations address all 17 goals, just one, or a critical few? Do the SDGs provide a comprehensive framework for sustainability programmes and reporting? How can outcomes be measured against the goals and sub-goals?

This session will be an opportunity to learn from peers. Please come prepared to share your experience, as well as any SDG-related challenges you are facing.

By the end of the session, participants will have learned:

  • which goals other organisations are tackling;
  • which goals organisations are struggling to address, and why;
  • some examples of best practice; and
  • a better understanding of levels of maturity across industry.

The event is kindly being held by Airbus, who require some additional information so that they can register you at reception. Please use the button below to register and provide this additional information.
