Closing the gap: Flexible approaches for a gender balanced workforce

As the deadline for gender pay gap reporting approaches, many CRS professionals are facing challenging conversations about the state of equal pay in their organisations. So, how can employers support women in the workforce, and can flexible working help close the gap?

We will hear from Natalie Gill, Programme Director at Timewise. Timewise promotes talent through flexibility, supporting employers to design flexible working solutions that attract, retain and develop the best talent. ​She will provide an insight to the actions businesses can take to close their gender pay gap, including flexible career paths, overcoming cultural challenges and tools for managers. She will also provide an insight to future workforce trends.

Our second speaker runs and delivers wellbeing for LEON, a natural, healthy fast food restaurant chain. LEON is a proud supporter of the Hire Me My Way campaign, and has adopted a number of flexible working practices including 'parent-shifts'. Prior to her role with LEON, Vida Scannell ran rehabilitation programmes for young men in prison, and is a qualified neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) Master Practitioner.
